.... or heaven forbid, make it illegal for a kid to use dad's weed wacker. I was cutting neighbors lawns to make spending money when I was about 10 years old using a push mower and later a riding mower.

Our federal government is obviously running amok with every department secretary and Czar creating more rules (not laws passed by congress) to enforce to make their own fiefdom more powerful ... thus needing more money to operate.

We not only need to vote Obama out, we need to also elect more Tea Party type house and senate representatives who believe in and will make good on their promises of smaller / less government

I live in Virginia also and have a farm . My friend has a farm and has his 10.13.16 year old childern driving tractors, power rakes, gas power log spliters. This is clearly child labor abuse. JUST LIKE CHINA WHERE WAL-MART BUYS 99% OF IT'S JUNK,BUT HAY IT'S CHEEP SO IT'S OK, SO LETS HAVE NO REGULATIOS ON ANYTHING LIKE ALL THE REPUBLICANS WANT AND WE CAN TURN INTO CHINA AND WORK FOR 2.00 A DAY

I was raised on a farm in Virginia and drove trucks and power equipment at a young age. We were well supervised by my father on what to be careful with and were not left alone. It certainly wasn't child abuse, we enjoyed helping our father who worked 7 days a week.
I'm not a big fan of the the Federal government making rules for every aspect of our lives. The concerns regarding children can be taken care of thru our state government. The federal government has no problem sending your 18 year old children half way around the globe to be killed or maimed for the rest of their lives in some foreign land. This same federal government wants to force feed your young children in their schools to accept ungodly sexual behavior etc...

The Administration must drive out all ability to compete with large farms and business, and at the same time require all labor to be union. By the way, I also have a farm in Va. and this law is stupid, why would I want to get a CDL to drive my tractor?
