More stuff with the Omega

Took the Omega out again yesterday (January 29)...In the morning went to a place where I have previously found pre decimal coins (Australian), although I wasn't particularly going after them yesterday. Did not find a lot of coins, but managed to find a 1950 shilling and a 1950 halfpenny, both at a depth of 4" to 5". After going home to wait out the heat of the day, I took the Omega out again, different place, and the first target was the silver ring, stamped 925....I dont know what the stones are but I am guessing CZ....I know they are not diamonds...I found other coins, but they are just our regular spendables. Thanks for looking.

It looks like you had a very good day. Heat of the day? I'm freezing.

Thanks tabman, stay warm. I forgot to say that the ring was in the ground, not deep, but it had grass roots growing through it, so had been there awhile. Gave a reading of 72 on the Omega.
