More than 1 machine in small area

I have read about other machine's not being able to work properly in a small area with each other due to "crosstalk". Same freq. have to stay so many feet apart to function properly with out loss of depth. Is the exp the same, or will the noise cancel feature eliminate this problem. Just a thought.

Hey Bill, I hunt right next to Joe R with his, one of us hits noise cancel and we are able to stay within 5 feet of each other with no interference. we also check each others deep signals and it doesnt seem to affect depth as long as the coils are more than 3 or feet apart we still get readings on the deep targets with machines on. I would say to stay at least 10 feet away though just in case the top end performance gets affected, but nothing like the 30 or 40 feet required with the Sovereigns....Jim

did OK when we were all together in St. Louis. Heck...we were all within 50-75 feet of each other, (usually).
I think the only time we could 'not' hunt was when we were actually checking each others holes, and having the units right on top of each other.
I hunt with 3 other Explorer XS users fairly regularly, and after a bit of noise cancelling, we seem to be able to hunt within small distances of each other. (my wife used to have to stand off fairly fair with the XLT we had...it would go nuts)
just my 2 corroded, barely reconziable Zincs.

Thanks Jim and Steve, I thought that was the case with the noise cancel, as I hunt with Roy IL all the time and we can get as close as 3 to 4 feet and still not affect the machinmes.
