Most advanced MT

Ok. Here is a question just for fun.

Does anyone know what the names and models is for the most advanced MT's are? I mean portable, consumer availability.
With today's computer and IR technology, I would think high end MT's could use the received eddie returns to give a very accurate readout to the user.
The MT's on the following link are kinda cool. But I thought I would ask if anyone here had info to share.

I'm sure the military has such devices. They always have the cool stuff. Sometimes I wish I was young enough to re-inlist.

Being a electronics and computer tech, I love electronic toys. I'm sure most of you can relate.
