and I certainly remember that waking them patients up was hard to do....but they sure woke up when I pulled that tube out of their throat and they were gagging for their life...Lorraine to the rescue 
And let me tell you ....some of the words coming out of those "waking up " patients were
. My ears turned red at some of the things I heard.
Oh, the stories I could tell about that Recovery Room
Of course , that was a long time ago...surely the anesthetic procedures and meds are much more sophisticated now and recovery room is less hectic....or at least, I hope so.
