Mother's Day Hunt At Old Park

I went for a short 1hr hunt at a field in CT that used to be old farm land. Thought I was digging up a can but instead it was this little bell with a "2" marking on top! I read that these are called 'conestoga bells' and are from the 1800s. Any information on it is appreciated!

Very cool bell Greg sorry I did not make it knee is all swollen from my hunt yesterday

That's a really nice find. I don't know of anyone who's ever found one down here where I live in Louisiana.

I wonder how rare it is and what its value might be?

Great find! I got a bent one years ago and still thought it was great, that one is MINT!!!
