You mentioned that the pulse delay was 15us and adjustable for different types of metals(gold,silver,iron,etc..).Is the 15us the setting for gold(typically), or is there `adjusting` to be done for the best gold response?? Ralph

Are these external or internal adjustments?
My BeachScan operates very well. I cant really notice that I can am able to tune an item in better with the reject control. I used a nickel for example.
I have zero complaints about this unit, but always looking for a way to make anything better.

whats the difference between `pulse delay` and `pulses per second??? or is this two ways of expressing the same thing? Thanks,Ralph
 
Pulse delay is dealing with when the unit takes a signal sample during the transmitter on/off cycle.
Rate is the times per second the transmitter is pulsed.
