I have never used a QXT, so I can't help you there.
Seeing that this is a PI forum, and your asking about a VLF detector there would be a far better chance of your question being answered on a VLF forum. We have a very popular White's forum here at Finds. Try posting the question there, I'm sure they are some who could answer this for you. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="">
