What is the differance between Surfmaster,ll and regular surfmaster, are they motion or non motion.does a 555-IC controal timeing.thank you.
Frank.

The Surfmaster II is a VLF detector based on the Classic circuitry. It is a motion detector just like the Surfmaster PI. Yes on the TLC 555 for the PI Surfmaster

From what I read you modify surfmaster PI,How low time delay can you lower it,and PI still works OK. Thank You.
Frank.

I set it for 15uS.
Going below that would require a re-do of the coil. Very expencive to get coil to operate on the detector at less than 15uS. <img src="/metal/html/cry.gif" border=0 width=40 height=15 alt=":cry">

Bill, Thanks, have you ever went below 15uS,with a different coil. If so,what were the results.
