mx sport on canadian clad

cladcanada

Member
i wasn't looking for an mx sport but i found one at a decent price so i thought i'd give it a try. so far its ok, heavy machine but ok. anyone have any tips on settings for our steel canadian clad?

also i'm looking at a smaller coil than the stock 10"DD, concentric if possible . if the only one is the 950 then the mx sport is leaving fast . i wish there was an adapter for the mxt coils.

Your coil may be in the works.

Best tips I can give you for bi-metal or steel coins is to adjust your disc to lower than normal (unmask down to -20 or so) or run with the RejVol setting at 40. That will let you hear the alloyed metals a lot better.

We have a 7" DD that is absolutely killer in iron and gets great depth for being so small - https://www.whiteselectronics.com/product/7-detech-mx-sport-coil/?lang=us

I find it's a beast on twoonies! It bounces quite a bit on the newer quarters though. I've discovered if it bounces from 10 to the mid eighties without showing a minus its clad.
