MX5 and M6?

Other than the looks, how is the MX5 different
from the M6. It certainly looks lighter.

Can not comment on the M6 but my MX5 is a winner. Stock coil is good, and love the 4x6 in trashy areas.

I have probably 50 hours on the MX5 and hundreds of hours on the M6.

I sold my first M6 to get the MX5.

I wound up selling the MX5 to get another M6.

The only way I could ever see selling my M6 again is if they come up with a waterproof version.

What is the main reason you like the M6 more than the M5......... Depth ? Stability? or preference of the metal case ??

It seems everyone who uses the M5 claims extraordinary depth for a Whites metal detector. I don't hear that often about the M6..
