MY 1350 FINALLY GETS SILVER!!!

I hunted with my brother in law today at a reservoir down by where he lives. They hold the annual crappie derby out on the ice there every year. It was a very nice place, we had the entire place practically to ourselves! We hunted for 5 hours and I got a total of 51 coins with one being a 1937 Merc! This is my 1st silver with my new machine! Wooo Hooo! I also got a silver pendant for a braclet, a broken watch and a button.

Good finds. My MD career is full of streaks. Last year I found about 12 silver coins in my first month of detecting. Then none for almost 3 months. This year it's one silver coin in about the same amount of time. I also had this long streak last year with no gold and then it started to hit pretty good too. I found a gold ring on my first hunt then nothing for months. I guess what I'm saying is, when you least expect it, you're going to start popping a lot of silver coins soon. Just find the right spot.

Thanks guys! I gotta tell ya I have been thinking that the silver is further down (my theory) Since we are farther away from 1964, all that is left in the ground has been there longer so it should be deeper. Well I found that 37 Merc at the base of a tree at about 2 inches! That Morgan still eludes me though. I have been thinking of getting the 10x14 DD so I can maximize my depth. What do you all think?
