This is the link to the video on 4/25/10.John Leger,(Bomber John) did the filming. Also included is a pic of it cleaned up.Somewhat corroded as most coppers from NH tend to be, but i'm still satisfied with the rarity of the find!

Sweet find and video Jason. I love Fugios!!!!!

Thanks for sharing.

Jason. My I congratulate you on an outstanding video. We were right there with you man! You'll want to (probably have) watch this 100 times over this upcoming year. I know I've enjoyed watching mine. If nothing more than to re-live that moment and savor it!!!:please::thumbup:

I do have to add I like your outfit. I think you should do a video MODELING your whole ensemble...don't forget your E-Trac. Handigger, canteen, flashlight all strapped across your chest...camouflage pants. The only thing I didn't see was a spare battery bandolier. Again. Awesome video!!! Keep it up!!!

Oh yeah Nice Jason

Amazing find. One of the oldest coins you can find in the new world! What's the value of something like this?

Good question as far as value. It,like most coppers, has environmental damage, due to the heavy mineral content in the soil here in NH.I'm not even sure what variety that it is? Even if it was worth alot of money,I wouldn't sell it because of the sheer rarity of the find.I only know of a handfull of people who have ever found one,one being CTTodd. It's just one of those coins that you rarely hear about finding and definately,as well as my Nova Constellatio are my top 2 rare coin finds.
NebTrac, you asked about my outfit.I use my USGI web belt and suspenders,my M249 SAW ammunition pouch as my primary finds pouch. An M16 mag pouch as my ''better'' finds pouch. Also attached is the USGI ''butt''pack that is used for whatever else that is needed.I carry my small Lesche strapped to my left suspender harness and use it as a secondary digger. It keeps it within reach, but out of the way. The canteen is a Camelbak, that was issued to me in my Army days in the 82nd Airborne Div. that still works great. The whole set up can be purchased at any surplus store for a very small ammount of money.I have everything that I need in the woods with this setup.
Thanks for asking and thank you everybody for the comments!
