never forget that each and every day is a 'training day' .
( more importantly, to seek guidence from God each and every day)
I've heard friends o' mine in Police work say that this is the worst time of the year for Policemen.
While we, joe public, get to see a lot o' good in folk this time o' year, they, as Policemen ,see the worst in people this time o' year.
Matt, my son, told me that the State Police were bent on gettin him recruited
but he went with the smallest local town he could.
( which happens to be the town he lives in, pop. 800+ )
He says that he's seen enough o' the 'front lines' and wants to spend his days
more comfortable, focused on local matters and doin the best he could for his public.

Jeeesh, i sure hope that when my youngest gets out o' the ARMY
he opens a dang bakery or somethin.
I spose he'll wanna foller suit with his brother tho.
