...would be to go the the Teknetics website and the Fisher website and download the operation manuals. They are loaded with information that I think will answer a lot of the questions that I see posted here concerning the differences in the two machines. It may also save you from making a purchasing decision that you could regeret later.

I always try to read the manual like 3 times before the detector arrives as well.....
