My best find of the year

I have owned a White's Amphibian II for about 12 years. Hunting a swimming hole this year, I found 10 gold rings. This 14k diamond ring was my best. I took it to a jewelry store today, and was surprised at what the lady told me. A new one like it would be around the thousand dollar mark. I was shocked! I have paid for this machine many times over since I have owned it. The only problems I have experienced with it was having to replace the fragile 9-volt snap-caps. It has been, and still is a great little machine.

I started out in the water, back in mid-summer. Then, the place dried up due to drought. You can now "walk" where 8 feet of water used to be. I should have stuck with it, but when there was so much competition, and my finds started playing out, I gave up. Looking foward to doing some extensive Civil War relic hunting with the Tesoros, now. Thank God, it's been raining most of the day now. Won't need a jackhammer.............

Good Luck. I have been waiting all summer to get back to my "hotspot", and it has been totally dry all summer---UNTIL TODAY. I enjoy hunting, also. However, the hunting season is going to miss me, if digging conditions are good. I like the fact that you don't have to skin those buckles, bullets, and buttons. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR FARM.
