My Best Find So Far In 2010:clapping:

MY DRIVEWAY!!! Got up and started shoveling at 6:00 AM so my wife could go to work. It was 8 degress with a little breeze. Had to remove about eight inches of gloval warming off my driveway. This is on top of about twelve inches we've had since Christmas. I'm not complaining because I know many of you are worse off. As I write this the temp has jumped to a balmy 10 degrees with a twenty mile an hour wind. Forecast is for subzero temps coming in tomorrow, so it looks like I'm going to have to resort to finding nails in the floor under my carpet with my detector.

If you have unfrozen ground, you are the lucky ones.

Keep on diggin'

except we have about 4ft. drifts and the snow is still comin down! and visibility is a big 0. as for the temp its 19 degrees. and their calling for just as much snow for tomorrow. detecting will not be happening for AWHILE!!!

down in the 20,s here in southeast texas at night but the ground isnt frozen really. we just had about a half in of ice in the water puddles but they all melt by noon. so im still hunting.
the gulf of mexico keeps about a 50 mile inland area from getting to cold. guess its the heat from the gulf water.
iv only see the ground frozen hard to were you cant dig once in my 34 year life.
but its soaking wet and sloppy in this black clay or gumbo. so its not worth hunting till it dries out some.

Im past the Sub tropical line in Florida and its 36 degrees and the weather service says we might get flurries into the next 2 night. WTH!
