I went metal detecting this morning with my Ace 250 and i found this unique disc. It is a disc that Annie Oakley used to shoot during her shows.

That's a cool find. I passed the pix along to a couple of gun sites and they found
it interesting. They were curious about how large it is.. Can you measure it?
Or maybe compare with the usual coins? IE: half dollar, dollar coins, etc.
 
... make sure you dont harm it while cleaning. In pristine, undug condition, they can go for as much as $100. As dug, well, it's anybody's guess. What the market would bear, I suppose.
Nonetheless, it is a very cool piece of Americana; a reminder of America's first, homegrown female superhero.

If you could have it authenticated it could be very valuable. There are tons of collectors of Annie Oakley memorabilia around who would probably help you out or at least get you started. I'd also research if the Wild West show played near where you found it. Very, very nice.
