Here's a pic of my Polish choir and me a few Christmases ago when we went to a convalscent home to entertain the patients with our beautiful Polish "Kolendy" ( carols)...the Priests in the pic didn't sing ; they just came along "for the ride".

Bardzo dzienkuje i Bog zaplac!

thanks for looking

Yup, Graw..that's the one....the coil's a little bent; been working it too hard

what a great looking group! Sing unto the Lord! :)

Interesting that there's so many men! Normally, we've always had a problem finding tenors and basses.

Oh, my mother's side of the family if Polish :) I used to love going to see my grandmother (and aunts, uncles and cousins) during the holidays like Easter. They always did a lot of baking (cookies, breads)There was one bread that they made that was outrageous. It was made with a sweet dough and rolled up with either ground prunes and raisins or dates and nuts. Tried to make it a couple of times but could never get the bread dough quite right (although it was delicious). :)

I spent 8 years living in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan....love those Pasties (pronounced 'past' ees not 'paste' ees.) There is a BIG difference.
