This the 4th ring with the Compadre. This one I thought was the first gold. It has China OG stamped on it. It sure looks nice. Came out shiny and was down about 3" so it was there for some time? I will have to soak it for awhile. I am going to count this one as a ring. I picked up 6 coins. Ran Disc@ i in foil. Maybe tomorrow... Thanks for looking.....Z

Sorry it wasn't the real thing zeekys, but keep after it. Obviously you're picking the right spots to hunt. Good job!

Sure is pretty for what it is. Kind of starts to give a new meaning to the phrase "Chinese copy".

a y """ a few rug pulls and the real deal will come out , good diggings

You're on a roll, keep it up until there's GOLD.

That would have had my heart pumping. Even though it is fake it is one sweet looking ring.

It is ok guys. The ring is a great looking one and I like it. It is going in the ring box instead of junk box. The one thing that I have to agree with you guys is the Comadre is fun to use. It is so different than the way I have been hunting it is a big learning experience for me. I hear the beep and dig. Sometimes I know that it is a coin beep, most of the time not. I guess only experience will work for me. By adjusting the disc to disc out the target is kind of like looking at the meter and trying to guess. If I dig the target I will know and this is the way I have been detecting with the Compadre. The Compadre has passed my expectations and am happily swinging it almost every day. Having fun and surprises every hunt. Thanks for reading........Z

Zeek, another thing to keep in mind is, when you hear a tiny little pop in your head phones. Do the best you can to pin point. Turn down your disc below all metal. It helps on pin pointing. Them pops can many times can be a very deep coin or jewlery. So slow down. Over lap.. Have a good time. You bont have to dig to China to find good things... KEN.Ind.
