my computer at work has the old format;can post smilies-My setup at home has the NEW format,still cant post smilies-By the way....

I usually only make my smilies by typing them in. You can do it by typing a colon : then the keyword...smile, then another colon. It would look like this : smile : (except you wouldnt put a space beween the colon and the word and the end colon). It ends up looking like this... 
Here are a couple other ones I know of....

: blush : :blush:
: mad :
: detecting :
: confused :
: biggrin :
