Nearly every time I click on something, which takes me to someone else's page, Internet Explorer stops working. It only happens on Facebook! I just may cancel my FB account! Does anyone else have this same problem?

Not me. No problems with FB other than the looming Timeline that will most likely take over my account most any day. :-(
