...........ALL of them are going to be involved in a "Congregation Participation Sunday".........For prelude,WE are going to be doing Michael W.Smith's"A New Hallelujah"-Any of ya heard it???That LIVE recording of music just makes me break out in goose pimples, and laugh like a little girl-WELL,ya know............ANYWAY:We are going to do it as close to Michael W.Smith's live recorded version as possible(Of course, with just my guitar)-Im going to let the cat out of the bag this Wednesday night, during supper before Lent services at Church-Just so I can see everybody squirm............Ya know whats REALLY a hoot???When I announce "congregation participation";they all start gettin nervous;thinkin Im gonna get some of 'em up there with me-Actually,all I need them to do is to clap their hands in time-From the comfort of their own pew seats,of course........what Im thinking of doing this Sunday is tell them "Im starting a NEW trend-its gonna be called "Congregation EXCHANGE Sunday"-Where I will change places with some congregation member, let THEM play and sing, while I take their place in the pew, clapping time"-THAT will probably make them run for the doors-Some of them are just PETRIFIED to get up in front-they ought to try performing a song nobody's ever heard of,in front of a crowd ,:blink::wave::rofl:......................BY THE WAY:My songs #2 -"Come To The Cross,Kneel And Pray"-and #3-"WHY??"-are going to be sprung on 'em Sunday after worship,too.............

You all will have lots of blessings and fun! I used to be very shy and didn't want to get up and read my poems, but after a few times of doing it...it wasn't so bad and no one ate me or chased me off! We automatically clapped to the music's beat and sang along if we knew the songs and would say, Amen, to the preacher's sermon when we agreed with what was said! Ours was Pentecostal, so not as reserved as the Southern United Baptist Church I attended as a child growing up on the farm and the baptist church before I started going to the Pentecostal church where I really came to know Jesus as my own personal Savior and Lord! May God Bless you to keep on singing, playing and writing songs for His glory and praise! Amen! Ma Betty
