I even wish they had detectors in the 80's and 90's like they have now, Mike, (chg area) but we had to use what was available and I did find lots of nice goodies and most of all had fun doing it! Mom had a detector shaped like a box which needed two people to use it as it had a handle along each side the box! Don't think she ever found anything with it! I still have it but one of the handles got lost when they moved several times after dad retired! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
