Got bored at campground is just covered with clad so I went to a hunted out park that has been there since 1860 was fooling around with Safari put pro coil back on manually set sensitivity to 20 ,put in low trash, conductive with no icons, discrimination set to zero only dug targets that were deep and above 25.Found 1919 merc at 6 inches was on edge took almost hour to find first target.Second dime was Barber laying flat at 9 1/2 inches deepest dime I have ever found.I almost did not dig this because I could not find it in pinpoint tried several times but pinpoint would not detect anything.Raised disc.said it was there.Put sensitivity to auto again lost target.Put back at 20 manual came in good decided to dig dug to length of Lecshe digger put Garret Pinpointer in hole could not find nothing decided to dig one more time before I quit.Put pinpointer in hole one more time was surprised to here it sing out went slow because I new this had to be good was still reading 32 on target ID I was expecting Indian head but 1896 barber dime will do.Got 1 pheasant and 2 quail this morning coinhunted for 3 hours wonder if I can getaway with doing the same thing tomorrow. We need rain.

Wow Prep, that is awesome! Good story and details. Will have to try the 20 sensitivity next time. I usually run in auto. That Barber looks like it is in really good shape. Good luck with the rest of your weekend. Unfortunately I have to work. Hope to hit it hard later this week.

Those horseshoe pits look good. I have found some good stuff behind and out in front of those pits. Congratulations on your finds. Those campgrounds will always have clad but a wise decision on your part came with nice rewards. HH :minelab:
