My errand day was okay until more of that white stuff came in with....

a steady falling and covering the parking lots and streets and cars with about one inch or more! I had to clean the ice and white stuff from off my car windows and before I could get my groceries loaded in the trunk, they were being covered fast! Luckily there wasn't much traffic on the side road to the main road which wasn't too bad from cars keeping the main one clear from traveling on it! Wasn't much traffic off of Lemay Ferrry to the road that I have to take to get home! Was falling so much, my windshield wiper blades were icing up to keep the windshield clear that they were making a scraping sound! I almost was slip, sliding away home but made it okay! I don't drive in these weather conditions any more, so do get pretty tense at times! I am one of them, who the others probaly say, Get out of the way, old woman, I haven't got all night! But I play it safe and make sure I don't slide and get out of control when I do have to drive in it! The parking lots and less traveled roads were wet, getting the white stuff and slick with slush.....hope people slow down and save their lives as well as others!

Sorry, I didn't get the pics loaded into my Computer, as yet, and I am tired, cold and just not feeling well....so will check the rest of the forum posts tomorrow, after I get my bank billing payments done! Did get my meds filled and/or refilled, sooo I will be back on them to start feeling better again, as I had completely ran out of some of them....even aspirin for my arthrititis pain! :sad: I Praise God and Thank Jesus though for keeping me safe and helping me to have the strength to get done what I needed to do! I have plenty of meds and food to make it through whatever the rest of winter brings us! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Glad you made it home safely and hope you are feeling MUCH better in the morning. I can sooooooooo relate to the pain and not having anything to take. My problem is that I CAN'T take 99% of the stuff available to take, and not that I don't have it. Maybe you won't have to get back out again for a while. Will be looking forward to seeing the pictures when you are up to posting them.

Thanks everyone! I still am not feeling well, but will take a few days before the meds start doing their job again! I had a prescrip filled for pain pills from the dr but couldn't take it and I'm still itching and breaking out from something....could be fabric softner or ????? My neck and lower back hurts most all the time when I get out of bed and often so does my head, until I get to moving around, drink coffee and eat something and then, maybe I am good enough to do something or go somewhere! If I ever get to talk to EVE, I have something to say to her about eating that forbidden fruit and Adam, too! Most men are so gullible when it comes to women....I guess, because they were raised and cared for by mothers! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
