the Halloween party for that group of unsatisfied adults was Saturday night. These are the same ones who had a get together last month here. Guess times are bad when one has to have to get money from satan and his band of perverts. These 'people' just walked around the whole hotel dressed or nearly undressed - some more than exposed like they owned the place.

Times are tough when they close down rooms for a lack of towels and I have to remove all the light bulbs from the rooms that are closed to light the hallways. Wonder how long this job will be around

On a positive note I am learning alot about management, mismanagement and hotel/motel hospitality

I'm not teaching this school year due to helping take care of my elderly parents. I am working as a front desk associate and relief auditor at Holiday Inn Express. I started working there about 1 1/2 years ago. While teaching, at the end of my day at school I would go to the hotel and work until 11pm, and then work 7-7 or 11-7 on Friday and Saturday nights. I'm still working pretty much the same hours at the hotel. I picked up this second job because of having two kids in college, and have stayed on there while not teaching in order to bring in some extra money. This is an exceptionally NICE hotel in a rural/small town setting. We have an elegant hotel with VERY clean rooms, and our guests are usually business people and passerbys from the Interstate. The owner and our General Manager require us to be professional at all times. I said all of that to get to this... no matter how fancy the place is, you still see way more than you want to see!!!!!! You can dress sin up, but sin is still sin!!!!!! We are living in a perverse world for sure. I have quite a few stories that people who aren't involved in the hotel/motel business would find had to believe! And being a teacher, I could tell you things about teenagers that would SHOCK people. Sad.......

We have had some hotels and motels in the area that have been robbed lately. The Hampton Inn got it in the wee hours this morning. This makes me REAL nervous!!!! Especially since I'm there during the second and/or third shift hours. What makes me even more nervous is the fact that my 22 year old son works third shift (11-7) there through the week as the head auditor and desk associate. He does this, and is also one of the managers at a local Dollar General store... while attending classes at Jacksonville State University. He's a hard worker and I'm thankful he wants to help put himself through school. Anyway, two men with shotguns is the description of the robbers. Please pray for my and Jason's safety while working at the hotel, and also for him at Dollar General. There have been some scary situations at Dollar General for him too.

Yes, sinners are waxing worse and worse, Pete and Lisa, and that is why we need prayer and the Ten Commandments back in Schools and the real Jesus taught and preached in the churches! But it is nothing yet like it will be if Obama gets elected, because the killing of babies up to nine months and even if born alive and agreeing with homosexual life styles are not Christ-like, so anyone can call themselves Christians, but doesn't necessarily mean they are! But remember while sinners are getting worse, we Christians should be shining brighter and brighter like the Book of Daniel says in (I believe) Chapter 12 and our faith is in Jesus' catching us away before the Great Tribulation is in full swing!

Prayers for you, Pete, for Lisa and her son! May God's protective, loving arms surround each of you and keep you safe from all harm and from seeing the disgusting sins of the worldly! Amen!
