My Finds for The Day

:detecting:Hey Gang!

I had the opportunity to hunt the grounds of an old school built sometime around 1929. The finds weren't that impressive. I found 60 or so cents in clad, an older nickle, an old chrome ring janitors used to use with all the keys on it, a brass ring, and a lot of old time junk :pulltab:. The one find that made the day was a Brass Medallion  with the inscription "World Book ~ Excellence In Reading Award", which probably dates in the mid 60's. Sorry ~ no pictures. I'm still getting use to the different sounds of the X-Terra70. Love finding those nickles! Yall have ah nice day ~ yah hear? Bye....

:detecting: Hello Seekers!

Monday morning once again found me hunting for 'Lost Treasure' in our county parks. Any day we can get up and get out is a good day! Amen? The finds weren't all that unusual but I did find 90+ cents in change and a tiara, although the tiara obviously wasn't real but fun to find none the less. More and more I've come to believe it's the 'Journey' not the end result that makes the difference in our lives. Can anyone give me an Amen to that? My prayer, for you all, is that God has blessed you all with a wonderful journey of your own. Happy hunting & God bless...

Amen! Glad you had a nice day out :detecting: and, yes, the journey in our mortality whether short or long is what we make of it! We can be joyful in serving and following our Lord Jesus or we can be bitter and angry over what happened in the past of our lives or how it is today, but journeying today or tomorrow with Him gives us joy unspeakable and full of glory. The Past is history, the Present is a gift and Tomorrow is a mystery! The mystery is clearer to us who know Jesus as our own personal Savior and love and serve Him faithfully and gladly! Amen! God Bless! Betty
