My finds from a hunted out homesite........

well at least I thought it was hunted out....lol

this is my aunt's house, I have tightly grided this yard in at least 4 different directions with my ace 250, and I have found a lot of stuff there over many, many trips there. Last trip there I walked away with not much of anything, that was with the ace 250..................

today I went back for the first time ever with my minelab X-70.........wow. Look at all the stuff I found in a 2 hour hunt. 5 more wheats, few modern pennies, large brass key, a token of some sort that says "Tested and Sealed Ohio"

all the wheats were 6+ inches deep, so maybe that is why the ace 250 did not get them?? the brass key was at least 8" deep, registered at 44-46, the ohio token was also a 44, I was hoping for a silver half dollar, but I think this is a cool find.

The X-70 justs blows away the ace 250, but that is to be expected it is 3 times the cost, I am just very impressed with this machine the more I use it.
goes to show a site is never hunted out

I found a couple of the Ohio tokens on ebay, only thing is mine is blank on the back the ones on ebay all have Ohio counties on them, odd? Maybe mine was lost before the back was stamped?

Congrats on the finds and more wheaties! I think I would use the x-70 while out detecting and use the Ace 250 in quick or competition hunts! You sure have done well this year....keep it up and ya'll be rich! :)

God Bless!
