My first 50 cent piece

Not silver, but a 1776 to 1976 bicentennial found 39 pennies, one quarter, 3 dimes, and 2 nickels. All this at the old swimming hole. I had found the 1927 dime and one wheat penny from there. I just can't figure out were the rest of the old stuff is.

Hi Case power,

Find out what the water level was in the past. Sometimes the coins are higher up on shore and deeper. Check the library to see how old the swimhole is too and if there were any other main swimming areas, plus look were the cars parked.

Good luck

Nice catch. Halves are scarce anymore. I found a Kennedy the other day, my first in ages. I think folks hoard them.
