Well I am still learning the machine, I have about 25 hours logged on it and I was hunting one of my spots today, I managed to recover a 1889 indian head penny and a pre 1900 cufflink. Very sensitive machine I dug a shoe eyelid down around maybe 6 inches and a 17 caliber bullet point down approxaimately 5 inches down, Looking forward to enjoying this machine alot, I was detecting for about 5 hours and my arms feel great .what a nice light machine and balanced extremely well.Ezra.

Welcome to the hobby...... Awesome first go-around...

I have been metal detecting for about three years with my whites mxt . I basically hunt for old coins and relics and I hunt farm fields for my finds,Its very exciting finding coins that are hundred plus years old when you find an old coin I realize that some of these coins were major losses for these people money was scarce and hard to come by. Anyway I am digging anything above iron to learn the machine and to see what falls where on the VDI scale. Ezra.

Nice finds, and first coin. I think you will also like the low power consumption,my LTD will run 4-6 hours aday all week with no power issues.....hh rick in mi.

I was hunting with the machine set at 80 sensitivity, BP mode and discrimination at 15. The audio is more pronounced in that mode and I am hunting in cut cornstalks field. Ezra.
