My first find of 09

Took the SE out today, using the Double hammer technique I penetrated the frozen ground. After a day out pulled out this wheat and this St Mary's I think its silver, it showed like a dime and came out just as shiny and was real deep.

Can I ask what the double hammer technique is?

A rock hammer and a pick type hammer with a flat back cuts through the frozen ground like butter. the hammer's are these two, just put the flat one on the ground and pound away with the other.

The pendant is awesome!!!!!!!!!! Good finds MG!!!!! i have been using the double hammer for a while,,,, Works great... you just eat a lil dirt every now and then lol
