My first five weeks X-Terra 705

T.A.L.LasVegas

New member
My first five weeks fishing at the school across the street from my house. a one minute walk: Each hunt took place around 5:00am and lasted 15-120 minutes and was done with the x-terra 705 with the 6" HF DD coil and I am loving every minute of it :clapping:
I found:
$32.32 in clad
Six rings, one was 925
One 925 Italy necklace
Several buttons and pins
Pipe wrench
Pliers
Two marijuana pipes and one bowl cap
One dime almost completely surrounded by foil (I think its really cool)
Toy car
Toy monster
Assorted costume jewelry
About 1/2 pound of trash

You're off to a fine start Grasshopper.

For the first 100hrs or so, the realizations each time you go out are huge. After that you start working on more of the finesse.
Keep going back there. Use that place as your test bed. It will continue to produce as you progress in your proficiency with each change.

Very nice start! Totally agree with Longhair! Maybe even hit some old farms to test your skills! Keep up the great work!

I do not really have any old places around Las Vegas just desert and new parks and schools but I am looking forward to this fall and winter because I want to go fishing around some old desert mines for relics if my health permits.

Your doing about the best thing you can do when your just starting to use an xterra and that's go to a place close to you and dig just about everything that beeps and learn what the xterra is trying to tell you. Keep up the good work and finds

Great recovery's...that school should hire you as the grounds sweeper....hope that's not an elementary school your finding the pipes at....a nice assortment of targets you got, should help to determine future digs..Good Luck..stay cool..HH

Boy that is a nice haul. I especially like the honeycombed head key. That is pretty cool.
