Went to an old park by the city yesterday just hoping for some old silver. After about an hour of just digging clad my 70 rang out. I cut the plug and couldn't believe it,there it was GOLD!!! OMG!! after doing the chicken dance I carefully dug the coin out of the plug. I had it in my hands. My first gold......50 cent EURO??? What ??? Oh well maybe next time. HH Ken

first gold COLORED coin..........don't ya hate when that happens! I found a 1950 Mexican coin in the field that was gold colored, man what a heart stopper
 
HEY! I found one of those before too! Yes, it's a rush to think it might be gold!! I'm doing pretty well on finding gold colored coins...hopefully it's just the big lead up to the REAL DEAL!!
