My first hunt w/my IDX Classic SL

Living in CT, there is for sure, no shortage of very old houses. Just this past winter, they tore down an old house, 4 houses down from me. I'de date the house from the mid 1800's, and my house itself was built in 1860.

Well I went up yesterday afternoon and had the 9,5 coil on, it drove me crazzzzy.....So I went back home and switched to the Royal 800 coil. What I difference I noticed right away. I only hunted about an hour, but I did manage to pull out one sweet coin, wish my digital was working now but it's not, the IDX sniffed out a sweet looking 1867 2 cent piece. I'll have to go back this weekend and spend a little more time there. Lots of trash there also, but thats to be expected.

Thanks Greg, all I need to do is charge up some batteries for the camera, I'll try to get some pics up soon. Actually, the side with the 2 on it, looks very nice, with a nice patina to it......It was only down about 2 inches, and the IDX was dead on with it's ID....
