My First Hunt with SE

Very impressive. I was a little nervous that I wouldn't like this detector and I've been putting off using it until today. I used the 6" excellerator coil because I was in a trashy area.. I used the factory settings and dug all the high tone signals. I learned if it sounds like a coin, seems like it's a coin every time. That thing really locks on to coins! I ended up digging 4 wheat pennies at about 6" deep in about an hour - which is great for the site I was on. More impressive was the trash that I DIDN"T dig. I wasn't getting fooled too much on pull tabs - and this was just my first hunt. I think I'm going to really like this machine.
