Hello everyone

Today ups delivered my first metal detector I ordered on friday. I was going to get the safari but got such a good deal on the quattro I ended up buying the quattro i've read some post that that say the quattro is slow . but I will live with that alot of reviews say it is a great machine I guess I will find out over all I am very happy and cant wait to get started

It is a great machine. All you do is just work slower. It still will punch deep and get the goodies. The Quattro is better than most machines out there so don't worry, for a first machine you got a powerhouse that will more than satisfy you.

hello everyone
well here goes I had the quattro for a week now I have used this week to get to know it i have read Andy Sabish book cover to cover a few times and have air tested and planted my garden today I love the quartto because on the test that i have ran on it that are in andys book have come out perfect just like Andy writes in the book the one thing is when I do all metal on the quattro in my yard the machine does in some areas not stop targets id's from 10 to34 I pin point dig down there is nothing their the pin point says it is deep but i dug down about 12" is it tme or is the machine giving me saome false targets? I would like your input on this

Hello Manny.

When this happens to me on the beach, it is mainly a repeatable jumping signal, indeed between 10 and 34, and there is ALWAYS a target down there.

Of course, there are no other targets in close proximity and digging sand is much easier. The pinpoint window doesn't "fill up" completely.

But there definitely is a target.

Manny.there are ghost targets, but there are a lot of lost targets because of the hunter. For really deep targets you need a pin pointer. The Sunray or any of the hand held units will find most of those missed targets. HH Ron
