That would be a bird band utahshovelhead i guess the state uses them too idetify them plus migration habits i think :shrug:
 
Looks like that bird might have been the bug and not the windshield this time.
 
Yea, it's a bird band. I've found four or five over the years. Often they have a phone number on them and an ID #. If you call the number they'll thank you for updating their records (they LOVE finding out where a bird died) and either tell you over the phone when the bird was banded and where or send you a certificate. Some of these bands are by pigeon groups and some are by the states to keep track of things like waterfowl hunting.
 
I like that button sasquatch. Bryce was dead on over a year ago when he recommended that coil to everybody here.
That 1822 coin would be the find of a lifetime for me. Nice relics too.
