My First RING!

DukeOBass

I've haven't metal detected for many years and never seriously. I bought an SE and used it for the first time on December 2nd. It took me about 5 or 6 weeks but, I found my first ring today. Here's a picture of today's finds. (I didn't include all of the bullet casings)

Nice ring DukeOBass.........:) Is it silver? Any ideas what it might stand for? Now that you have that first ring under your belt with your new SE I'm sure more rings will follow. Best of luck and HH.

Sure beats an Old Crusty Common Wheat Penny any day! WTG with that very nice Silver Ring! It will look great in your collection along with all your other great finds to come. Congrat's, Good Luck and HH.:detecting:

Thanks. It's stamped STERLING on the inside of the band. I believe it's an Army ring. The crest is the same thing the army uses. I was running DIGITAL when I got the signal. It was a good strong 00 30 and the first thought that came to mind was... "Now this is Silver!"

Thanks James. I hope you're recovering well and feeling better every day.

Hey Don...that's a beauty there man. I like it!
