My first Silver of 2011 and my first Youtube video! :cam:

I got out today for a few hours and the temps were cool but nice. I got my first Silver of 2011 and it was my favorite coin- a Standing Liberty 1929 S!!!!! Also a few clad and twitchie78 found a bracelet that's copper. There was loads or trash in the area we were hunting and I just got my SunRay X-5 in this morning and was about to give it a try when I hit a 11-47 on the E-Trac. I carry a printout of TBGO Spreadsheet with the FE and CO numbers since I'm still learning the detector and I seen a few targets that have 11-47 so we decided to record the dig. Ha ha we had another that fooled me but it sounded so good but never matched any numbers and it was a flatten screw cap. I know you guys and gals wouldn't want to see that.

HH Rick
and Thanks TBGO! for your great web page and resources!

Hey Rick,

I really enjoyed that! Congrautlations on the Standing Liberty man! Thanks for the awesome FULL Dig!!!!

Just out of curiosity, where do you run your threshold Pitch at? I think I could also tell you run DEEP ON. Not criticizing at all, just curious.

Keep hunting and filming.

Very nice video Rick, I am so glad you included the sound the E-Trac made over the target. Congratualtions on the SLQ and thanks for the video.-- Randy

I had Threshold Pitch 15 and DEEP is ON. Any suggestions? I'm all ears...lol. And also the pinpoint was off a little, I think the coin was tilted some.

Nope, no suggestions. I just knew your Threshold Pitch was lower than mine. I'd had people ask me about the "thumping" you hear after a detected target. I've always found it to do that with Deep ON and Fast Off. But didn't know if your fast is on or off. I think that is also what some people talk about the famous "chopping the signal".

You can bet it was on edge. That is exactle what I see when I pinpoint a coin on edge...its usually an inch or so into the side of the hole.

Thanks again for the video Rick.

Right again...Fast was off, I thought it was on but guess I missed it when I was setting it up. You sure know your E-Trac's.

Very nice! You sure don't see many of those babys pulled out of the ground. It's cool that you were able to get it all on video too. Thanks a lot for sharing.

I still do, lots of people here post them. They helped me decide to buy the E-Trac when I was making that big decision between Minelab and the W brand. I'm glad I did and glad for all the hours of Minelab videos I watched for months.

Enjoy that new E-Trac! Rick

Question:

Where can I find this "TBGO Spreadsheet with FE and CO numbers"? I searched the forum with no results. It sounds like this spreadsheet would be a very useful tool, especially for someone who is new to the E-Trac like me.
