My G2 came in today

While I haven't opened up the package yet, I would like to thank Bart at Big Boy Hobbies for a quick delivery. I also want to complain about UPS, they delivered the G2 several houses down even though the correct address was on the box. I called UPS and complained, they apologized. I'm just glad I know the people at that address real well otherwise it might of turned out different.....Good hunting to all and thank you Bart. John

Get it together and do a nail, quarter, nickel and gold test like whats in the Fisher Classic Forum...... (there is a video there). Love to know if it will do the same with the 11" DD.

Put G2 together and did a quick test, on my way out to a baseball game. Set gain at 75, all metal and this is what I got, solf repeatable hits: 14k ring 14 1/2", quarter 11", dime 9 1/2", nickle 12", penny 10 1/2", silver ring 11 1/2". Set Disc @ 0, 14k ring 10", quarter 7 1/2", dime 7", nickle 9", penny 8", silver ring 8 1/2". Bumped up gain to 85 and picked up all targets 1 1/2 to 2" farther. Wanted to set the gain higher but too much interference inside my house. I will do this test again when I have more time, I will also use my headphones. The test I did was without headphones and my hearing is not all that great. I am very impressed with this little machine, it hits hard on gold rings. HH John
