Not much to blush  about but had great fun with the Kruzer in the semi-dry sand on a Galveston beach this past weekend.
That gold glitter sure pops out at ya when you see it laying in the pile of sand you just dug out.
None of it is marked so I guess it's just bling...but it was fun!
I have the single frequency (14KHz) Kruzer and ran in 3-tone most of the time. I did get into the surf for a while and even dunked the Kruzer on purpose to check it out. The beach mode ground balanced at "00" and was so quiet that I had to run my scoop over the coil to make sure it was working. The 3-tone mode on the dry sand was a little chatty but there was no doubt when it ran across a good signal. Bottle caps were easy to distinguish by the extra iron grunt the signal gave with the high tone pitch.
I hunted less than 2 hours and found the bling pictured plus $1.56 in clad...a stainless steel spoon and a Hotwheel car.
Was a fun and enjoyable hunt!
