I re did this golden sabre II with an adjustable external gb and vol control and a paint job hope to try it out this weekend.Need to find some smaller knobs for volume and gb adjust.

That GB is perfect where it is if box is on the lower shaft. No more reaching under the pole to GB. On top of box and easy to reach while swinging....

How did the detector and GB work.

Worked great, didn't have much time to play in the dirt with it. The knob on top is volume control front left is gb where hp jack was. I made another shaft and put the batteries under the arm cuff about 90% done on that, should make easier to swing shifting the weight
