My GT, before and after

About 3-4 weeks ago I purchased this Sovereign GT. It wasn't much on the eyes but the 10" Tornado coil was in excellent shape and the control box had obviously been kept covered because it barely had a scratch on it.

So here is what I did to make it look practically new again. I purchased a new upper shaft, lower shaft, new cushion arm cup, new Black hipmount bag, new grip, new under arm control box clip, used but excellent condition 550 meter, new yes new unused BBS 8" coil and replaced toggle boots with new full coverage ones. I also took the old upper and lower shaft and wet sanded them and painted with Rust-Oleum satin black. Purchased a plastic arm rest for that upper shaft so that will be my hip mount beach rod set up. I had to do alot of research and messaging back and forth to find all of these parts. But now I finally have my Sovereign again. Thank you everyone who helped me find what I was looking for. Honestly, between the price of the machine and all the things I purchased it was a total cost of around 600.00

Nice job. My 8 year old one is showing some age but she still likes to scream in my ears "Dig That" and most of the time she is correct. Of course i forgive her when it is an aluminum screw cap.

Nice job and Almost identical to mine but I'm using a 3D printed mount for the id meter which I've converted to be 180 scale

I used wireless on my Sovereign and noticed I missed some good targets. The older BBS coil is decent, but the newer small Tornado coil performs better. Nice job with the Sovereign. HH Ron
