Waist deep in Long Island Sound on the Connecticut shore watching the sunrise at 5:30 AM while quickly ground ballancing my LS. 41/2 hours of rock solid/steady signals!!! and practically no false signals!!! Lots of the usual finds and no gold, but it was such a pleasure using the LS that I didn't care.
I dug 3-22caliber lead bullets, 8-quarters, 2-dimes and 4-nickles and 4-pennies so thin they are easily bent between my fingers.. Several items of junk and an ear ring plus one very small and thin broken silver ring. I call these the "payin my dues days" and look forward to early tommorow (weather permitting!!).
