My "merc " finds over a 3 yr. period

Most of these "mercs" came from the salt water...and what damage that salt water does to these precious coins!! :cry:

A few came from the earth at parks...they are in much better shape.

A few were so thin, that I had to be really carefull cleaning them.unfortunately ,
as you see ...one just broke in my hand as I was peeling off the heavy tarnish.

I just love finding those mercs! They are a beautiful coin! :)
 
Nice set of Mercs L ! As we have no water here, much less salt water, the Mercs dont get corroded. I'd rather have a beach to hunt tho, Steve in so az

I'm not so organized, Pete....these "mercs" are kept in a plastic baggie...I just took them out and checked their dates for the pic..

My coin collection is all over the place..something like my computer desk...a disaster to behold!:yikes:
