My most recent "nice" finds

There's not much out there that isn't trash in most of our local parks. It's a small community and there are a dozen guys that hit the parks on any given time. In one of my local parks, I found this Monopoly game piece mixed in with a few other clad coins.

The today I was out in another local park where I found this pretty gem. Both were found with my Simplex. The coin was coming in about 70 I believe but there were two dimes in the hole and they were popping up in the low 80ties. The cross was coming in at about 57 on the simplex but was a bit jumpy.

Its always humbling and often mysterious as to how and why one finds “gems” that everyone else seemed to miss earlier, including yourself. Goes to show its never hunted out. Good job!
