My new Cibola

I just received my cibola last week, as I wanted a detector that was simplier to use than my V3i . WOW I was simply amazed at this cibola!!! I actually believe it detects as deep or deeper than my V3i and Much simplier to operate. Get this, I found my First gold ring within 45 min. of opening the box of the Cibola, And I can assure you I went over it many times with the V and it probably gave me TOO Much information and I probably thought it was a bottle cap and didn't dig it. The Cibola gave a nice repeteable tone And I dug and found the ring 10" deep. I'm new a BIG tesoro fan to say the least!!

Spending more money isn't always the answer. For the price in situations that don't require manual ground balance the Cibola is hard to beat. You can tell a lot just by the tone, thumbing the disc., and raising the coil while sweeping to determine depth. And all that info with no display. Your ears are better than a display. Welcome aboard!!!! Let us know how ya do with the Cibola and if you can help you with some questions, don't be afraid to ask!

Yup... I got a Cibola.. fun little unit... I got 5 silver rings and a ton of clad with it so far... no gold yet. Try the super-tune one day - it willl add about 2 more inches.. bring a back hoe (or a younger member of the family )

Wow 45 minutes, congrats! I am now a firm believer that the human brain and ears are the best for target identification. Welcome to the Tesoro family :)
