My new Lady Floral by Seymour just arrived

Greetings. My new Lady Floral by Seymour shovel just arrived.
40 1/2 inches, 2 1/2 lbs. Real wood shaft with D handle. Tempered steel.
I would not recommend this shovel for any metal detecting but beach hunting.
But for the beach hunter (and the gardener) this is a real sweet shovel!
Nice long handle. Super light wieght. The tempered steel shovel has shoe pushers.
Perfect for beach hunting. Looks great too.
I was using a super huge, heavy ditch digger shovel that was almost six feet long,
Must weigh around 8 to 10 lbs. No D handle on end.
Then I got to thinking, tots use little plastic shovels on the beach with great success.
This super big heavy Klondike shovel is way over kill for the beach
So I started looking for the nicest, lightest shovel that I could find.
I even considered getting one of those bright, colorful plastic tot shovels.
Then I soberred up and realized that wouldnt work. So I kept looking.
This is what I came up with.
As long as it stays together, I'll be a real happy camper.
This is an awesome shovel for beach hunting. Didnt cost much, either. $35.00.
Looking at this shovel motivates me to get my tired old butt out there and do some diggin!
Love it! Needs to be seen and handled to appreciate how nice this shovel is.
I know, a shovel's a shovel, right? Whatever works, right? Not nessesarily.
Happy hunting. Kev
