My new Racer 2 Coil has issues

But no worries. Our friends over at metaldetectors.com are sending me a new one. The one I have won't ground balance for some reason.

I bought the R2 for the 5" coil so I won't have any down time.. I love my XP but the MR2 will find the goodies that my Deus just can't see.

Very pleased with the customer service backing this product.
 
Arnie if your ground is by the machines standards close to 90 it will not GB, no need too. If there is something there you cannot see and it makes a good bit of noise GBing there is something there that the all metal sees that your other modes didn't.
 
My ground is in the 40s. There's something loose in the coil somewhere. You can push the trigger forward and tap the coil with your finger really fast and make it sing. My 5" coil does not behave that way,
